Lovevery

I have been the Lead Graphic Designer at Lovevery since October of 2023. As a leader on the marketing design team, my responsibilities range from developing creative direction for go-to-market campaigns, collaborating with motion designers, photographers, and videographers on ads and social campaigns, and getting into the weeds through email marketing design and illustration. Here are some highlights:

The Reading Skill Set

The Reading Skill Set was released in 2024. We identified that the families whose children were aging out of the Play Kits now had an emerging need to teach reading skills in a fun, approachable way. The Sets include Lovevery’s proprietary books, age-appropriate reading games, and informational parent guides.

For the launch of this new product, I created a reading campaign-specific visual style that we carried throughout all of the go-to-market assets. We developed a never-before-used combination of Lovevery’s bright color palette, which was brought into a studio photoshoot, and then carried through to emails, social posts, reels, and ads. The goal of the marketing campaign was to pump up the sense of joy and anticipation around this product, as teaching children to read often comes with some hurdles and anxiety for parents.

‘The Good Stuff’

This soon-to-be-released TV spot was created in 2025 as a collaboration between the design and video teams. The premise is that having a baby inevitably comes with a lot of “stuff” – much of it with questionable production methods and potential safety hazards – but if you get Lovevery products you have the “good stuff”.

Together with my Art Director, we landed on a fast-paced, quick-cuts direction with bold type treatments for this spot. I set about looking for a typeface and did a lot of experimentation, then developed static layouts to get in front of our videographer and motion designer. This was an extremely collaborative process with minimal “rounds” because we would just throw stuff in front of each other on the fly - my favorite way to work.

Social Campaigns

I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to design for our social team in a very experimental way. While we have our go-to templates for quick posts to keep the content train moving, I often get to create something completely out of the box using new tools as sort of a test to see how they will perform.

I absolutely love to dabble in different approaches and design techniques, so it’s always a treat to be assigned a social project. From bringing in patterns, textures, and illustrative elements to incorporating AI — everything is fair game. It’s been fascinating to see how the posts perform compared to my expectations. Past data informs my new design directions, so I love to pore over the insights as much as I can. These are some examples of posts I have loved collaborating with my team on, that were successful from a design and campaign goal perspective.
